You may be able to get help through Housing Benefit towards the rates you are liable to pay on your home - whether you pay rent for you home (in which case you can get a rate rebate as well as Housing Benefit) or whether you own your own home (in which case you can only get a rate rebate).
The conditions for getting rate rebate are similar to those for getting Housing Benefit, outlined in the next section.
To apply for rate rebate, contact your Housing Executive office.
